FAQ:
We are a family owned and operated business, operating in York County, Pa. Bounce-Around's first priority is the satisfaction of its customers. Our goal is to provide the highest quality, safest and cleanest bounce units in the industry.
Yes, we are fully insured with the state required liability insurance policy. A copy of our insurance policy can be shown to you at the time of your rental.
We deliver, set-up and pickup the unit. That is all included in the price of your rental.
Our main concern at Bounce-Around is your safety. Some companies allow you to pick up the unit and set it up yourself, however we don't feel that is a good idea. We are trained to evaluate the site, use appropriate stakes and straps to secure it to the ground, and bring to your attention some safety issues.
Rain and high winds are the two most common types of bad weather, which require deflation of the unit. If local weather forecasts are calling for rain or winds exceeding 20 MPH on the day of your rental, Bounce-Around may have to cancel your rental for safety concerns. If rain arrives after the unit is set up, it must be deflated and all electrical connections should be disconnected. If the rain stops, the unit can be re-inflated to resume use. Once the unit is set up we do not offer any type of re-schedule. We do ask that you view the weather for your area prior to your rental date and look at the hourly's that are posted 24 hours from your event time but by 3 pm the day before. If the weather is looking over 60% chance of rain you may want to call us before 3 pm the day before and reschedule your event for another date. We do not offer refunds for any deposits.
Yes, our units can be set up indoors or outdoors. Ceiling height should be at least 20 feet high. A school, church, gymnasium or auditorium provides plenty of room.
It depends on the size of the unit you are renting. We generally require several extra feet on each side of the inflatable for a safe setup.
Yes, the customer must sign a rental agreement stating that he or she understands the terms of the agreement and has received a copy of and understands the rules of the unit.
Yes, but please be aware that due to rising gas prices and the possible need for an extra truck and labor that travel fees can be quite high. Please call our office for a current quote.
No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play.
That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally, we arrive between 15 and 45 minutes before your rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours to a day or two beforehand. We will email and/or call the week of your appointment to confirm a delivery timeframe and that someone will be at the party location.
No. The inflatable should be clean when you get it. Bounce-Around cleans and disinfects the units on a regular basis!
Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That´s why we require an outlet within 50ft´ of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy-duty cords.
We love setting up at parks but some parks do NOT have electricity. Please check to see if your particular park has electrical service. If not, you will have to rent a generator. Also, most parks require to be added onto our insurance policy as Additionally insured.
Cash, Business Check, or Credit Cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash.
We require a minimum 25% deposit for all orders If you cancel your event order prior to your rental, you will be given a raincheck that is good for 1 year if it falls under our weather policy. Deposits are non-refundable.
All of our bounce houses are 15x15´ Please note the space required for each inflatable (listed near the picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can´t rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump. The sizes listed with each jump do not include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.
Check the requirements listed with the combo units, slide and obstacle course. Also, make sure you have at least a 4´ access to the area where it will be set up. The units can weigh up to 470 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we cant set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
