If the weather turns bad, there is no fee to cancel as long as you inform us before we leave to set up. If you were required to pay a deposit, the deposit amount can be saved as a rain check available for credit within 1 year or you can choose to have it refunded back to you. Once we have set up, we have to pay our employees for their hard work and therefore we require full payment regardless of use.
Note: Unless we feel the weather/rain forecast is too bad to risk our equipment (60% or more chance of rain for most of the day) and we need to cancel, we leave the decision up to you on whether or not you want to cancel. If you chose the overnight option and the weather is calling for rain overnight, we will need to pick up the unit by our latest pick time for that time of year as the inflatables can not be left out in the rain overnight.
Another safety concern is wind. When winds go higher than approximately 15-20 MPH, the unit may become unsafe regardless of our tie down methods. We may have to cancel your reservation or change the time of your rental. If you are concerned, please call our office. See the rain section for details on refunds of deposits paid.
Rain and high winds are the two most common types of bad weather, which require deflation of the unit. If rain arrives after the unit is set up, it must be deflated and all electrical connections should be disconnected. If the rain stops, the unit can be re-inflated to resume use. DO NOT use the unit if it is wet, as wet vinyl becomes very slippery and unsafe. Customers do not get a refund if rain occurs after delivery and set up.
When the colder months roll around, cold temperatures can become an issue. We require the temperature to be above 45 degrees for the whole duration of the rental, otherwise we will need to cancel the reservation. See the rain section for details on refunds of deposits paid. Also with it getting dark earlier, units have to be picked up before dark unless there is ample outdoor lighting.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not want to lose your rental due to these circumstances any more than you do, but please understand that the safety of our customers and the condition of our units are very important to us.
